The awards committee of the World Professional Association of Transgender Health is pleased to congratulate you. You have been selected as the winner of the 2016 Outstanding Student Contribution Award. Because we had to select only two winners out of a pool of almost 20 candidates who all deserved awards, we chose based upon the following criteria:
The winners were people who had completed the work under consideration. They had published research, completed a project or initiative in such a way that the impact was far-reaching and clear. The work had to have made a positive difference in the lives of transgender people worldwide.
We send admiration and thanks for the amazing work that you have done, are doing, and will continue to do. Please say hello to us if you are attending the WPATH Symposium in Amsterdam next week. Will be be announcing the awards at the symposium and will send you a note when we know where and when.
